Why do liberals hate?

It seems only they can decide what free speech is, who is a victim,only they have the solutions,usually involving massive public spending/oppressive taxation,,loss of individual rights,and in the case of,lets say,public schools,complete and total failure of thier policies?

Why do conservatives hate? Last time I checked, they were the ones saying that gays shouldnt have rights and putting America in war.
And loss of individual rights? Lets talk about the patriot act.
