Does that make me a loser because now I enjoy spending time alone more than hangin out with poeple I don't like? I'm 20 and I consider myself unlucky in finding friends and they tell me "being lonely is such a turn off and never say you don't have friends".

Im in my 30's and I think I only have three friends. I have never thought I was a loser.

I love spending time alone and the time I spend with my friends.

You are who you are and you should be proud of it and NEVER have anyone tell you you should be a certain way just cause they are.

well, i'm 20 too (next year) and i dun have many friends too. i enjoy doing things alone and though i have close friends, i love walking alone than to walk with my group. i think to stick with a certain group, being with them anytime, go anywhere together is such a stupid thing to do. you are a very unique person and you're not just " a member of a group". being alone together makes you special. don't consider yourself unlucky. maybe the time has not come for you to have true friends who don't judge you based on your social life. just stay who you are and don't give up okay?

Some people are careful with whom they choose as friends. I don't think that is to be considered "being a loser" I think its very wise and thought out. When people question you about the topic of friendship I would tell them " I haven't found my best friend yet..but I am accepting applications from qualified people."

Don't be hard on yourself for being smart...Friendship is hard work.

no you are a rogue. it is cool. you probably do have "friends" but not in the accepted society standard sense. your standards for true friendship are high so you are thinking of that kind of a friend not the superficial friends all these other people have. Flip the script on them and ask them what makes a true friend or something to that effect... My sister has a lot of "friends" but who is carrying her home when she is drunk of off her @55 at 2 in the morning or paying 500 dollars for her car to get new tires? Me.

I have few friends. Alot of "friends" have backstabbed me in the past few years. But the ones I do have I thank God for everyday. One especially, has been there for my worst and best moments. I dont know what I would do if I never met her. I think that as long as you have a good friend or two, then your fine.

It's kinda weird when somebody says they don't have any friends. Loser's not the right word, but it's the first word that comes to mind... But then again, maybe they're just shy...

It depends. Try and tell whether they are trying to make you take pitty on them, or if they are just taking pitty on themselves. Try hanging out with him/her and see what kind of person they are. Never judge a book by it's cover, just by the font. haha. Merry Christmas!
