Smallville will have an episode with the justice league. It airs on January 18, 2007. Clark is reunited with several super powered heroes when Oliver Queen, organizes the first version of the future Justice League. With Bart Allen, Arthur Curry and Victor Stone, the team works to discover what Lex is up to with Project 33.1.The Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) sends out for reinforcements and Bart Allan, a.k.a. The Flash (guest star Kyle Gallner), Aquaman (guest star Alan Ritchson) and Cyborg (guest star Lee Thompson Young) return to Smallville to help him take down LuthorCorp's secret lab. During a break-in at the LuthorCorp facility, Bart is captured and tortured by Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) and Clark (Tom Welling) sets off to rescue him but is felled by meteor rock. An alarmed Chloe (Allison Mack) goes to Oliver for help, and the newly formed "justice league" springs into action to rescue Clark and Bart.

It is rumored and hoped for, but doubtful. Aquaman's Mercy Reef never made it past Pilot, and Birds of Prey was like 12 episodes if that.
Vaughn... is full of it. Batman and Wonder Woman are definate No Shows as the characters are tied up in movie contracts already, even the Use of the name Flash is in doubt, as I read a Flash film was also in talks, Martian Manhunter is also set to appear in the SV episode titled 'Justice'.
I personally would like to see a Justice League series, but chances are Smallville would have to end for it to survive.
For what its worth, the Batman in Smallville, rumors are based on the series having first been designed as a Pre-Batman/Bruce Wayne, but with 'Batman and Robin' stinking up theatres and Batman Begins in negotiations, it was shifted to Smallville about Clark. and in the commentary track, in season one episode one, the producers expressed a desire to have a Batman cameo, which from that statement makes me think that Oliver/Green Arrow is now filling the role that they had envisioned as being for Batman/Bruce.

bwahahahahah!
The Dark Knight has appeared. Last season Bruce Wayne made an appearance...and that was about it. The trailer for the episode abused the bat insignia, considering the minimal bat-ness. Most likely... its going to be a big 2 episode season closer, if not a series closer. Lex must be up to something huge if its going to take this much firepower. I doubt WB er cw (nasty color scheme for the screenshots) would have the budget to properly sustain so many do-gooders...uh...heroes. Given the ages they should go Titans first, wait for the series to die the do JLA features. lol Only reason for it might be the Phantom Zone escapees, or a trailer I saw a couple weeks ago. A big swirling whith light that appeared to be being used as a portal...or an Apokalyps boomtube.
