I play heavy metal music. Can anyone name a few amp models that are good to play this type of music?

depends on your budget. if your not loaded, try randall or crate. if youve got 1-2k budget, peavey, marshall or mesa. and if money is no issue, krank, soldano, and hand wired marshalls.

Crate, Marshall, Peavy, Most death metal guys play through marshalls, I play alittle metal I use a Jackson soloist into a Ibanez SM7 smashbox into a fender blues junior. Kind of a tool kind of metal I think you no what I mean. If you are into the lamb of god death metal stuff it doesn't really matter you need loud thats about it that and a boss metal zone pedal doesn't hurt

I have seen lots of heavy metal bands use amps with 4x12 speaker cabinets, and sometimes 2 of those cabinets stacked on top of each other. Marshall is famous and Peavey makes them too.

There are several choices but I prefer Marshall over any other brand...Hiwatt maybe a distant 2nd place! Marshall amps have the power & the tone needed for Metal music!!
