In Internet Exploer, open the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options". Under the "Programs" tab you will find a check box to check if IE is the dfault browser; check it, click "ok" close and restart the browser. It will say thay IE is not the default browser and ask you if you want to make it the default browser. Select Yes

Most folks want to change it the other way though ,as Internet Explorer is such a lame browser compared to Firefox.

You will have to right click on IE and select properties and the go to the Programs Page - put a check in the box to have IE check to see if it is the Default Browser. Hope this helps...
