how do i find out my server address?

i am trying to set up a proxy server with apache so that i can set up a wifi dongle, is my server address just http://www.aol.co.uk
because that doesnt seem to be working

Odd question, but assuming you're using Linux, open up a shell prompt and type:

ip addr

If you're using windows NT based OS, open the a command prompt and type:
ipconfig /all

Or on 98:
winipcfg.
