I hope this helps:

Reported by: Jan Stoddard
Date of Report: December 24, 2006
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 19-54 inches

Area Report: Four to six inches fell in the mountains around West Yellowstone last night. Good news - there is a 40-60% chance of more snow over the next four days. Current snow depths include 19.1” here in West Yellowstone, 21” on the Madison Plateau, 42.8” at Carrot Basin, and 54” at Black Bear (8,666’). Neighboring Idaho Mountains report 6”on the ground at Henry’s Lake, 25.8” at Island Park, 37.5” at White Elephant, 26.3” Pine Creek Pass.

Yellowstone National Park West gate is open for both snowmobile and snowcoach traffic. The recent snows are upgrading most roads from fair to good. (The East entrance is still closed.) Snow depths include 21” at Old Faithful, 22” at the West Entrance, and 22” at Canyon.
