That depends on how you define REAL. When you are a child, REAL is what your Mom and Dad tell you. As you begin to think for yourself (about 6 or 7) you realize that REAL has different definitions depending on circumstances. For example, electricity is REAL - your flip a switch and a light turns on or off. However, love is also REAL, but you can't just flip a switch for it - you just know that your parents love you, and you love them. REAL is also the 'Spirit of Christmas or Santa'; it inspires people to give to others: their family as well as others.

No, Santa is not real. He is merely a man (relative, friend or stranger) dressed in red and white apparel. He does not come down your chimney to bring you presents. Just remember, you buy Christmas presents for your parents. You put them under the tree and wait until Christmas Eve or Day until they open their gifts. They do the exact same thing. They may not put theirs under the tree when you are around. They may do it when you are in bed or away for awhile. But those presents only get their because they put them their, not Santa.

Santa Claus is a shorten version of St. Nicholas. (they kinda sound familiar) at one point in time he was real and alive but now he is dead and we keep the spirit of st. Nicholas alive by having Santa Claus' and stuff. even though he has become highly materialized and modernized.

no Santa Clause is not real. Well.. atleast that's what i think. I mean... do u think that reindeers can ACTUALLY fly??? Do u think a fat guy can actually slide down a chimney??? Do you think that a guy can actually deliver presents to good kids all over the world in just ONE day??? Do you think that a fat guy wearing a big red coat is able to survive in the North pole??? Saint Nicholas is real. but not Santa. If you think he's real, then he's real. If you don't think he's real he ain't real then!

No he isn't. However, people tell children this so they will have something to look forward to and "know" who brings them their presents. I think he's real in the hearts of many children (as well as some adults) all over the world, but, truthfully he doesn't exist.
