Never ever buy a Belkin KVM. They are horrible. Go for the Starview switches. They come in PS/2 & VGA, USB & VGA, or USB & DVI. They are very high quality and are absolutely wonderful products.
Here's the USB two-port one I have: http://www.startech.com/Product/ItemDetail.aspx?productid=SV231USB&c=US.
And here's a four port that I also have access to and is just as wonderful: http://www.startech.com/Product/ItemDetail.aspx?productid=SV431USB&c=US

StarTech's products are rather expensive compared to what you got, but they are sturdy (made from metal) and very reliable.
