I think everything starts with a question.

The great philosopher Voltaire would say (in french),"The important thing is that you become enlightened." Nietzsche would probably say, "I ask, therefore I am." Sartre would say, "if you listened, then you heard me." Will Rogers would say, "I never met a question I didn't like nor an answer that didn't invite more questions to the party." Socrates would say, "It's not the asking nor the answering but the point of view of the experience." Jim Morrison would say, "There are many doors to perception." Bob Marley would probably say, "No don't worry 'bout a thing. "cause every little thing gonna be alright." Bob Dylan would say something brilliant but unintelligible...and John Lennon would say, "I am the apeman...kookookachoo". And I suggest to you to both ask and answer questions until your own philosophical viewpoint is self-realized.

i did not be attentive to this until I asked my 2d question at present. that doesn't make experience. Prairiecrow says its to deter spammers, yet why could spammers care approximately stupid factors besides? i don't even understand why we even get factors. i've got not been doing this very long so there is in all probability a lot i don't be attentive to approximately Yahoo solutions yet.

I agree with you that asking is more, philosophically more important then answering, in generally, and here in particular.
In general, because asking is inquisitive and starts a series of answers and questions.
Here, is particular because that is the basis of this Yahoo! Answer forum!
Great question that you posed.

A question is thought provoking. It can reward the person asking as well as the one being asked. A good answer is a gift that may answer a question or send you searching for more. Have I answered your question?

Both are equally important. Asking a question means you're expanding your knowledge about a topic and by answering a question, your helping someone else to expand their knowledge.

Yes, but with out answers there can be no questions, enter the paradox, which came first the chicken or the egg. If you say Chicken then didn't it come from an egg? If you say egg then didn't it come from a chicken?

Asking of course. No question then no answer!!! And for ego tripping, you'll find either the best answer or the dumbest one. And, your ego gets boosted when you receives lots of answers, right?
