I have no idea. Maybe he's losing his marbles. If you were really treating him well and not doing anything absurd, I don't see why he did that. Some people are stupid, in case you haven't noticed. Don't let that get you down. Good luck with the next one!

I think that your man did what he did because he has a neglected side that needs nurturing (this includes sex, too). She may be ugly and unkind, but maybe she's enthusastic about sex. Or maybe she just listens to him in a way you used to (which he feels that you don't anymore). Who knows. She might just be providing a deep need in him right now which she provides, and you don't. He may not even keep her for the long run.
Another thing... in many cases, marriages are made to fail. Too many people get married because they have low self-esteem and think another person can fill their inner void. So they marry the first pretty (or even just sympathetic) thing that walks across their path. Bad idea. Take your time to really get to know someone, and be pragmatic about your choices.

They must be very selfish individuals to leave their wives for any other female. Ugly, beautiful. etc. That should not be the issue and what about the females breaking up these marriages. We reap what we sow. God bless****
