Why is itunes not working tonight?

No matter how many times I try to buy a song, it says the store is not available. What happened, did the sever break down due to the heave traffic at the site today? Does anyone know when it's going to be working again?

Apple makes inferior technology. Try Napster or something.

Ah i got a giftcard and keep trying to redeem it but it's not working for me either.
