Nice To Hear That You Got A PSP For Christmas!

As For Putting A Password On Your PSP, I Belive This Will Only Work On The Games And Internet Browser.

To Set The Password, To To The 'Security Settings' Option On The 'Settings' Category Of The PSP's Home Menu Bar.

There, You Can Set The 4-Digit 'Parental Code'..

I'm Not Sure If This Will Be For When You Turn It On; Again, It's Mainly For Games And Internet Browser From What I Gather..

As For Downloads, Yes, You Can Put Your Downloaded Videos/Music/Photos On Your PSP Via USB Or Memory Stick Reader.
Just Remember That The PSP Only Supports The Following Formats*:
Images- JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, BMP
Audio- MP3, MP4, ATRAC3plus, ATRAC3, WAV, WMA
Videos- MPEG-4 Simple Profile (AAC), H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Main Profile (CABAC) (AAC) and Baseline Profile (AAC)
*all info via psp support page (1)

All Those Are Supported With The Latest PSP Update..

yes you can downlaod music and videos from limewire. but first turn your wlan on. you cannot connect to the internet without it on. it is like the power switch but at the right side. place it at the image that looks like a signal. afterwards it okay to just drag. as for the password, you go to the settings then go to security settings then apply password. that should do it.
