no considering we are under a threat. there have been people on planes with bombs. and threatening the us. Just saying those words in the airport now will delay u. Don't tell someone there DA bomb either in the airport. Do u realize we are in war. Remember how many people died in the twin towers because of a hijacked plane. ck it out.

No I don't because some people are still very sensitive about it...I don't see why anyone would need to say "bomb" or "hijack" in a normal conversation anyway.

Heard a story about a guy who told the flight attendant she was the bomb and was detained at the airport.

No it's not weird......people are on edge in an airport, and if you say something like that it can get you arrested. The just don't want anyone "crying wolf" for no reason. Best of luck to you.

Well everybody is very tense over there. You don't want them to accidentally shoot you. Best not to say something like that. My son has done some stupid things. One of them riding on a bus in Washington Dc joking that he would love to shoot the president. He doesn't really want to but he thought it was a joke. I told him you never know who is listening and in this day and age when people are so nervous you never know what will happen to you. Since then he has stopped this.

Yeah. I was reading a newspaper article about 9/11. The security guards wouldn't let us in because they thought we would hijack the plane because I was reading the nwspaper article. WE had to convince them it was for my history project before they let us through.

No it's not weird. You would feel just as uncomfortable if some random weirdo was mentioning bombs and stuff right before you boarded a plane.
