There is some imperical evidence that the moon has effects on us. Also we cannot dispute that a woman's average cycle runs with the moon cycle (in fact some Indian tribes call menses "moon days")
We do know that the moon effects ocean tides, via gravitational force. We are part of the mass it is pulling on and 90% of our bodies are water. So there could be some subtle changes in us from the moon.

I think the moon has to have an effect. Did you ever see a cat that likes catnip? They are so happy!, when they get it on a full moon! Every time, but sometimes not hardly at all at other times. Even if it's the exact same cat and nip.
I feel happier when the moon is full. I can't explain it, it's just a sense of completion, like nothing else is needed, you've already got everything and everything is ok!
Now, the say, start projects when the moon's energy is building. I think that's true.
And when the moon is waning, or going back to almost not visibly there, even though it always is, that is when you should let go of the things you need to be rid of in you're life.
Like bad habits, relationships, even a bad job - like begin moving away from that, which is a process in itself.
So that you will be ready to start anew.
Ya gotta clear out the old, to make way for the new.
Like, ya don't get anything good until you first make the place for it to go. So there is nothing already occupying that space, see? Free up you're heart, etc..So the new gets it's chance.

Psychologists have found that there is no strong evidence for effects on behaviour around Full Moon.
They find that studies are not consistent, with some showing a positive effect, while others will show a negative effect. In one instance, the December 23, 2000 issue of the British Medical Journal published two studies on dog bite admission to hospitals in England and Australia. The study of the Bradford Royal Infirmary found that dog bites were twice as common at Full Moon, while the study of public hospitals in Australia found they were less likely at Full Moon.
Psychologists point out that there is a difference between correlation and causation. The mere fact that two events happen at the same time doesn't mean that there is a cause and effect relationship between the two.

I have always found that in my line of work, when performing my tasks at night, it was always noticed that on a full moon, many people act crazy as well as many individuals were irritated.
Since I was interested in this, I asked many people who had strange ideas such as the gravity of the moon has an effect on the human brain. This however has never been proved.
Another person stated that most times no difference was noted by him and in fact stated that this could be in fact a myth that has been passed down throughout the years to a point where the majority not only believed this to be true but in fact behaved in such a way because of society's misconception of this knowledge.
After thinking about this and researching the studies that were conducted, I also now agree that maybe it is my misconception or a wrongful belief that has led me to a conclusion that an on going myth has indeed affected even my judgment since after reexamining those same incidents and times that a full moon was out, the people could have been acting as they themselves could have been expected to do deep down. That alone only proves that the moon has no effect on behavior but should show that the human race is susceptible to suggestion and maybe more studies should be done in this area and not wasted on myths.

Humans are affected by gravity (tides) and light and the moon gives us a range of these effects. For example, women tend to ovulate at the full moon, at their most fertile, and not unrelated, tend to wear more makeup and less clothing around the full moon too. And this, presumedly, could make some boys howl?

The moon has a subtle but very powerful emotional effect on all the beings living here. It is kind of like a governer, or influencing mechanism.
Think of the moon as a flywheel for life here on this planet. It regulates and supplies the rhythms our subtle selves follow, particularly the emotions.
Most people are unaware of their emotions. They just feel them--or deny them. But they are the driving force of life and all beings who live here have them. The moon is their governer. But it does not control the emotions, it only acts as an influence.

I imagine it can do. The moon phases are in connection with tides. As you know certain times have larger tides than others. This affects atmospheric pressure which in turn will have an effect on your mood.
