I had the power jack replaced because it was broken, it would charge some and turn on before it was fixed, but now it won't charge or turn on the charge light doesn't come on even. Does anybody know what is causing the problem, or now how I can get it fixed without having to pay the same price as what a new computer would be. Does it have a power reset button that has to be activated because I don't know where it is if it has one, and I couldn't find out if it did or didn't.

It wasn't fixed by a shop so I can't take it back and even if places replace the power jack they don't gaurantee that it will work, and if it doesn't then the person that owns the laptop has to figure out what is wrong with it.

does the light come on on the power supply its self. if not then the power supply is faulty and not the jack. if it does then there is still a problem with the laptop. it would probably be just as cheap to buy a new one.

If it has not worked since it was 'fixed', take it back to the shop & get them to fix it properly.
