Kobe's always been a ball hog. Thats why Shaq is not still there, Kobe wanted all of the spotlight and points to himself. Shaq will always be the better player,

in my opinion, no.
Kobe Bryant was never a ball hogger just because his teammates always gave him the ball so he can score. Every game he tried to get his teammated involved when it comes to scoring, and in the second half he would find himself in a difficult situation, so he would be forced to make more shots in order to win the game.
any player in the NBA would do whatever it takes to win a game, even if its to take over the game, and thats what kobe had to do. But now that the lakers have different players who can play like a team, he is distributing the ball more so that he can take less shots and make the lakers better and better. Now he has less pressure on himself, and he can relax a bit during the game.

This year he's been passing alot coz i think he trust his teamates more i only think he hogs the ball in tight games at 4th quarter or when he's team is down.
