Ethernet is favourite as its faster than USB. It may take a little longer to configure than USB and I see that you'll have to buy a wireless card, but it tends to be more stable. Plus you'll have your USB port available for your other peripherals.

I would suggest ethernet. Ethernet is designed for networking and should give the best conection.
USB can slow down if you have a lot of USB devices running at the same time. This is probably unlikely to cause a problem though, The USB connection also tends to need extra drivers/software while ethernet doesn't need any extra

I recommend Ethernet port. It is faster and USB requires more current (power) and this slows down your system too than the Ethernet adapter.

Use the ethernet, it will free up an extra USB port on your computer for something more important.

Ethernet by far is the fastest and will let your USB port free for other devices, and it wont slow down your PC
