There's an old saying that goes ''There's A Fine Line Between Love And Hate". This will be one of the truest things you will ever learn. However another way to look at this is, it is possible to love someone you don't like.

First of all, Hate is a very powerful word. I am stuck with a mother that tells me that she loves me but at the same time she dislikes me.
I could never figure out how your own family could feel both ways towards another in the same family. But, it's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last.
Anything is possible in love and war.

theres a thin line between love and hate there are many people that I love and hate at the same time alot of times i think you start out loving someone but they hurt you and hurt you till you have no choice but to give up on them after you put so much energy out on them you start to despise them for taking advantage of all the love you gave them. So you love them still but hate them for all they've put you through. Hope this helps answer your question

Even someone you love can upset or disappoint you. But if you really LOVE that someone, this hate (I think you really mean "upset/angry") doesn't last for long. Natural that we get upset - sometimes too easily, when we are with a person for a bit too long differences/conflicts become hard to handle, at times.

Perhaps it is a fine line between Love & Hate, both being the
most intense of emotion. When angered and frustrated there is a tug of war between the two.

It's a matter of having feelings for that person. Unfortunately it involves all feelings including love, hate, jealousy, you name it. If you didn't care then I guess you wouldn't have a problem but sounds like you do care.
