I know about 10 capricorns and they all say that they feel this way most of the time. I am a capricorn also and often feel this way can remember feeling this way since i was about 4yrs old! Although I have a lot of people who love me and want to be around me, I have a hard time being around them.

No i'm a capricorn i'm never alone and i have never been depressed, most the caps i know are out going people but i do have some capricorn friends that are depressed...i think it verries.

It's pretty common for young Capricorns. My best friend is a Capricorn and he's alone and depressed plenty. He's a lot better than he used to be though. Capricorns are very serious signs. When they make a commitment or enter a relationship they take it seriously. And when you're young most people aren't ready for that type of commitment, seriousness, and depth. As a Scorpio I had the same problem. But, as we've gotten older people mature and are ready for those kinds of relationships. It's been easier on him and he's not as alone anymore or depressed. Capricorns want to achieve and they always want something better. And when you're in middle or high school, your options are somewhat limited. Now, he can achieve much more. So, I would say it's very common in younger Capricorns, especially teenagers. However, It will change with time. I hope this helped.

I'm a Capricorn and until I got saved and turned my life over to Jesus and let Him guide me I was a mess. Always sad always depressed. I have a new outlook now. I'm happy and enjoy life. I married a man who is in outreach ministry and we have 3 great kids. I don't know about other Capricorns I hope everyone finds the peace joy and love I have.

I think Capricorns like to be that way,somewhere inside of them they think they are overcoming some obstacle ,they feel they should do things the hard way and the outcome would be more gratifying for them ,they definitely are brooders,and the crazy part is that they think too much fun is detrimental,,,,excuse me for a minute i just had a ex-capricorn flashback!!

I'm capricorn myself and have been called the 'typical' capricorn by my friends before since i'm a 'true' capricorn as in moody,stubborn etc.
And yes we tend to get very moody and depressed,but we are also very known to basically never give up and have the strongest personality out of all the other zodiac siigns.So even when we do get depressed,we carry ourselves and continue the day.Since people tend to depend on capricorns alot,it's hard for us to express our emotions (ironically since we seem to have the ability to express our thoughts shall we say,rather 'honestly') in fear of disappointing those who look up to the capricorn's lifestyle.So therefore capricorns often feel pressured,that's why if we fall,we fall harder than anyone,but you have to admit,we are very quick in carrying ourselves up again.And also,capricorns love order,perfectionism and quickly take offence,so basically we're very hard to please us .So we're often unsatisfied with whatever,which is an excuse for us to get depressed all the time.

I,too, am a Cappie and many are loners.Capricorns are old when they are young and vice versa. Many Capricorns try too hard to achieve and become depressed when success comes so slowly. They become depressed, but with perseverance they will eventually make it to the top and they find the depression gradually going away.

Alone yes, but not depressed. I love to be alone because I like quite and I`m free to go everywhere I go without hassle. Capricorn feel depressed because they are ambitious more fantasy than reality and many high and incredible long term plans that make this people depressed because they don`t accept failure but we are born by nature if something go wrong in life you must accept then live and enjoy what you have best tip.

I don't think so. I have the odd day when i feel less than social or just downish, but i think everyone feels that way sometimes.. That is life. Maybe some people (capricorn or not) just have more intense feelings or are facing depression issues.

i don't know if ALL capricorns are like that, but i'm a capricorn and i'm not usually alone OR depressed...maybe it's a coincidence?
