Don't stress about it too much, he is going through a phase known as Mid life crisis (similar apparently to our menopause thing). She is just a transition for him to prove to himself sub-consciously that he is attractive to other women, if she is going to be around for a while let dad see who is the 'adult' in this situation as sometimes (though rarely) these relationships work out and if this girl does really love your dad do you really want to deny him that, it is a difficult and embarrassing situation to be in the middle of especially if she tries to take over - this is where you show you are more adult than she by being the mature one.
Good Luck to you.

I have a best friend that did the same thing only they had a kid about a month ago (she already has 2 from a previous failed marriage)

this is so disgusting and hurt full to everyone involved esp. the little children.

but they are adults and have the freedom to do what they want.

people have gone against Gods wishes even me sometimes.

I feel so sorry for you and hope he don't get her pregnant, but prepare for the worst. You might need to dis-own your dad, but maybe that is what he wants.

as to my friend, he is a very kind man, just keeps getting married and divorced to women who say yes and agree. He loves all his children and his ex-wifes and treats them very well, but I think his behavior is gross and disgusting and dishonorable.

I would not be his friend if he treated all his exs and children bad, so I guess I give him a pass and maybe I shouldn't.

good luck and prepare for the worse. I'm very sorry for your situation.

Sounds like he's dealing with his divorce by dating this young girl. She's most likely involved only for what he can do for her monetarily. He's involved with her because he may feel like it's a boost to his ego. I know it's embarrassing, but it most likely will not last. He'll most likely be embarrassed about the situation too after it pass. Just continue to love him and have a private conversation with him and tell him exactly how you feel. It may seem as though the talk didn't penetrate but when he's alone, he'll think on your words. They both are of legal age and it could be genuine, but I highly doubt it.They have nothing in common.

If you arent old, ask your dad how he would feel if you went out with someone who is 35 years older than you. or hit on one of his friends that is around the same age. he should get the point. unless the girl changes or ends the relationship, your dad isnt going to.

As he is well and truly old enough to be her father or even grandfather I have serious qualms about daddio. I have a rule with my father - he may not date anyone younger than his children - its a bit pedophilliac.

Your father is an adult. Unless he is breaking the law there is nothing you can do. You might not like his choice but it is still his choice. What would you do? take away his free will?

Your dad is an adult and his GF is legal........so deal with it!!!! Just let it go, chances are it won't last long.
FYI: I'm 53 and if I tried dating a 19yr old.....would prob kill me....too much for this "old fart" to even attempt to keep up with....lol

That is tough to deal with, but the more you protest the harder it will be..I guess he is feeling his cherrios..talk to him alone and tell him how you feel..tell him if he want to date her to keep her away from you...It probably won't work but it is worth a try..dirty old man
