I'm white, and clean shaven, for ten years. I'll give you what I know. If it's your first time, your going to have to use the clippers first, followed by a disposable razor (I use Shick ST- 2 blades). Any more than 2 blades really doesn't help much, and your going to want to keep costs down. I stock up when they go on sale, so I pay about 40 cents per razor. Shaving cream goes for about a buck a can on sale, stock up at that price as well. After your clean you should only have to shave every 3 or 4 days (although everybody's different). Good luck with the new look. The columnist Dave Barry once said ''How come black guys who are bald look cool and white guys always look like giant thumbs?''
