Of course it will snow, warm and cold fronts sweep through alternately. This Christmas some parts of Australia saw snow on Christmas day in midsummer, the same parts were ravaged by wild fires a week ago with temperatures over 40 C. The weather changes from day to day and week to week. Climate is the long term average of weather and changes over longer periods relating to fluctuations in the solar flux. 120 years ago was what 1886? That was not long after the end of the "Little Ice Age" when the average temperature was about 2 degrees Celsius lower. We can expect the warming trend to last another 150 years or more so snow will become a little less likely.

The same thing is happening in my town, the temperature has only dropped below freezing twice since november and it snowed for the first time last week, this winter is so strange. Like C'mon this is Canada we're not supposed to have warm winters, I love winter!

I highly doubt that it's global warming, the atmosphere took centuries to rise one degree, it wouldnt take 2 years to rise 10! The earth just goes through regular cycles of warming and cooling that usually last a few years.

I hope it snows next year, I'm tired of white Christmass'!

my city is pretty warm too. I miss snow, it only snowed twice and those times didn't even count because they were just flurries that lasted for a little while. I miss having a white Christmas. Haven't seen one of those around here in like forever (or so it seems) Merry Christmas anyhow! And have a happy new year!!!

Sadly nobody in the public cares enoth to find out the real facts about global warming... Co2 is just a small part of it there are a ton of other factors you probably cant even list them all on paper if you had enoth paper to fill the white house... Let me put it this way every action has an equal and opposite reaction at the same time.

I live in Texas and I forgot what snow was. I think you not getting snow the first time is sooo sad. I wish we could get snow every year.
well we do get snow once a year but it is usually less than an inch. and most likely to happen in Jan-Feb

Typically in history the world starts to warm up just before an ice-age. So.. either global warming has just started and we will continue to heat up, OR soon you will get all the snow you ever wanted (could be either a small ice age like in the Victorian era, or something catastrophic).

Happy Holidays

It's global warming, and as the years go on you may start to not see snow in your city at all anymore. I suggest you check out this film, it will shed some light on the topic and let you know how you can help!

What city might that be? Since it usually snows there each year, it will almost certainly snow again sometime in the future.
