I have maybe a hundred floppies containing images shot with a Sony camera. Floppy drives are history, (I do have one on my HP desktop, but when this computer croaks, I'm getting another laptop) so I need to get these images archived on CD or HDD, but would like advice on cleanest way to do it. i.e., fewest steps, fastest transfer rate, best quality, etc. Any takers?

Split your screen in two, using the minimze / reduce at top of screen. On one side, make it your drive A. On the other side, reopen MY COMPUTER, and select wherever you want to save these floppy files to...(documents, etc).... then just drag them from the A drive , across to the other location. Pretty easy...(or use copy & paste).
