Seriously, these are consoles made by two MAJOR entertainment companies, how is it possible to have a shortage of systems if they mass produce them? I doubt it takes that long for them to pump out more from the factory, so what's going on?

They do it on purpose. When they first release a system they only release a small number of them, and then more are released later. I think it has something to do with supply/demand, or creating a desire to have it more so you feel justified in paying so much money. But, I don't know if that's true, I don't understand that kind of business.

Well Wii Had A Problem With The Wireless Controller So They Had To Fix This Problem Right Before It Was Released! And Play Station Is Just The Number 1 Seller In Video Games.

1st there is a lot of people buying them. Second I personaly belive that they only want to release a spefic number just incase of a recall.

Who wants to recall over 100000000 systems.

I am not sure about Wii but PS had manufacturing problems that held them back. plus people are buying them as they come in stores.
