Sure it is, i had one myself. A sansa mp3 player is just like any other multimedia or flashdrive player. When u connect it to your computer via usb. go to my computer. The u will see removable disk drive, or a new drive. Double click and just delete the songs you want by left clickin and then "delete"

Look at your mp3 player directions. I had this problem, when my brother played a joke on me and put a string of Barbra Streisand music on my player. I did not figure out how to take it off though and figured that was not an option for mine.

you can delete recordings by holding down the little round button in the middle but to delete acual songs you have to plug it into your computer and delete it off there

I got one for Christmas and the book manual lied to me. I'm pretty sure you got to delete it from your computer.
