next to st.patricks and valentines day its the stupidest holiday to celebrate

So don't celebrate them. Is someone forcing you to? Just because you dont like something doesnt mean you have to be a downer for everyone else. The world does not revolve around you.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate New Years through fact the celebrations originate with worship of pagan gods. besides, new years is usually linked with heavy ingesting, something else that Jehovah's Witnesses do not take part in. As on your associates, this is a threat that they only had buddies over when you consider that human beings oftentimes have day off from paintings at New Years. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, i won't communicate for them, and all people could answer for his or her own movements.

So people celebrate because it means they survived another year no matter how much they went thru. Now st patricks day is something i think only da IRISH understand n V day is a bunch of crap because ur mate is supposed to show u how much they love u all year around

january 1 is a holy day for catholics. it is the feast of the solemnity of Mary, mother of God. St. Patrick's day and Valentine's day are also days commemorating the saints.

its a holiday just like christmas or easter because its a new year and a chance to start over with anybody! and you get to make a resolution and if you keep it, reward yourself big time!
