ive fot a laptop for cristmas today its a dell and it works fine except i cant get on the enternet every time i clik enernet explorer it says that the page cannot be displayed or page has expired please help me i want to use it so please give me good advice and help me thanks

You need an internet connection first. You'll need to set up access with your Internet Service Provider(ISP).

you need to go to start >>network connections> go to the icon where it shows your present inernet connection >right click it go to properties >scroll down to TCP/IP double click it make sure it has a mark in obtain ip automatically>click okay >then ok on the other screen and it will be hooked up...very important this will work if you hook up your present inernet ethernet cord into you computer do this first then follow the steps above you should be up an running ...good luck

If it is wireless the you will have to set it up to connect to the network. Refer to the manual that came with it.
Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Wireless Networking. It should guide you through setting it up.
Your router should be a wireless router too.
