i'm a gay guy looking for other decent, goodlooking, down to earth guys in la. i've lived here more than 9 years, and it's almost impossible to meet any nice people in la, period. and gay guys here are the worst: stuck up, rude, superficial, stupid as hell. on top of that, most of them are 5's or 6's who think they are 10's. is it possible to meet any cool guys in la?

No matter where you live, it is possible to meet decent nice guys. When you say that someone is a 5 who thinks he is a 10, isn't that being superficial? Just because you think he is a 5 doesn't mean that someone else doesn't think he is a 9.
There are two things to look at. First, are the guys you meeting that bad or is that only your first impression of them. Have you taken the time to go out with them once or twice to get to know them, or do you easily dismiss them. What you think is stuck up or rude could be someone not letting their guard down at first to avoid having their feelings hurt. Secondly, where are you looking to meet guys; bars and clubs are usually not viewed as the best place to meet anyone besides a one-night stand (although I have met some really nice guys at clubs after getting to know them). Gay people are pretty much everywhere, so you don't have to look in only predominantly gay places. Do things that you enjoy that also give you opportunities to meet other people without specifically looking for a date. You could end up meeting a really nice girl who has a gay friend or gay relative that is looking for a decent and nice gay guy to meet.

First you should say "Los Angeles" or "L.A.", as someone thought you were talking about Louisiana (LA) & I had to check to make sure you didn't mean Iowa (IA).
Second, with a few million people in your town, I'm sure you're not the only decent/good looking/down to earth guy there (unless your standards are ridiculously high). "Patience, grasshopper" -you might be looking too hard, maybe you should chill & let them look for you.

actually... eharmony? Orr... with the help of your human beings. I wouldnt say there's a 'position'. actual not bars or the health club... even although possibly a espresso save? i'm a quiet guy and that i have met maximum girlfriends with the help of my acquaintances. It provides us time to get to carry close one yet another socially and flirt and communicate, and if i love her its person-friendly to ask her out. everywhere else and also you run into the precedence of %. up lines and bits and bobs and backdoors... and those different wierdo courting issues. each from time to time it may be wierd in case you breakup and your nonetheless acquaintances with the same human beings, yet not a lot no matter if that is amicable.

Oh dear, I am from Louisiana and I have not been able to find a good liberal guy. I would suggest you got to the city parts of La where people are more friendlier and open minded.

Try the Republican party. There are a bunch getting ready to come out of the closet. Look on the "Log Cabin Republican" web site.
