In a metaphorical sense, the mirror will never show you how you look to others.....because what you see is the reverse of what other people see

I guess you can argue that with enough enthusiasm anything is possible
BUT photographs and digital devices are artificial and man made things

they were NOT meant to be in the perfect world of GOD

Well, true. But God allowed us to have these things, right?

For example, when I say I am fat and people say it is my distorted perception, I disagree. I know when I am fat one day and not fat the next. It is not a distorted hallucination, it is an opinion of what I know it can be and how the reflection matches up to that image.

A picture is a picture and reality is reality. A driver's license is not the same as any other picture (icky; you know what I mean). We all know this. But they are darn good likenesses; all these pictures and reflections. Were it not for these duplicate images, criminals would not be caught, loved ones would not be found and we would not even have television.

in many circumstances. those i'm thinking of now are "the following day Wendy" via Concrete Blonde. And ever considering i found out what "Hallelujah" is approximately, i've got felt extraordinary enjoying it around people. "candy Transvestite" and different songs from Rocky Horror. additionally, like others here, i could no longer carry a track in a bucket ;-]

Yes, I do. It is just hard to accept that what I think about myself isn't what other people see. Especially with girls, our self-esteem is really low and we think alot of things about ourself that other people can't see. Like I don't think I am pretty at all and friends and people I don't know have come up to me and said I was beautiful. I just have a hard time understand and grasping this concept. Happy Holidays!! :)

If you use two mirrors, you can see a reflection of your reflection. That's almost the same...

some formal wear stores have reversed mirrors that will let you see yourself as others see you.

Yes, I realize that.
I think if I ever get to see myself as others do (3D) that would impress me so much that I would be scared.
