Out of all of the movies in the world that could have been remade, and I'm not saying movies should be remade, but out of ALL of them, why in the name of all that is holy did they choose to remake "The Hitcher"?!?!?!?! >:-O

Same reason as always, to try to capatilize on an earlier, better film. This remake will get to video just as quickly as the sequel did.

Just as baffling, does there need to be another "Hannibal" film?

Because the original was successful and whoever decided to remake it thinks this version will duplicate the success of the original.

I know i saw the poster today at the theaters. The poster disapointed me why would they bother. Sure its going to make money next year when it come out though.
