ive heard you stop growing after two years of having your period? is that true?

No, it isnt true. Growth may slow down, but generally growth is not complete until a girl is around 18;

No because some girls get it when they are still fairly young like 10 or 11. Unless they were already 5'3 or 5'4, it would be strange if they stopped growing then. It just depends. I really don't think it has anything to do with when you get it.

No, it's just a convenient way to guess how old a girl will be when she stops growing. Everybody is different. I know a woman who grew another two inches when she was in college!

Please, a girl does not stop growing until she is either 19-21 years old.It is true after 2-3 years of having a period you do stop growing.

Girls are physically mature when they have thier first period - and stop growing then. There is no reason, so to speak, for them to continue growing once they are physically mature enough to bear children. So no, women do not grow after that.

heigth wise that might be true.. I dated a girl in highschool who was 5'10 and she didn't have her period till she was 16...
