The site in question may have blocked an entire range of ip's due to abuse coming from that range.

Or , if you are on a dynamic ip address (found with dial up services and some cable internet services) , they could have banned because someone who used that IP address before you, caused problems.

The website may be set up to accept only IP addresses from a specific country or area of the world and block everyone else...

This is sometimes done when a website cannot handle all of the hits it gets and it gets overloaded.. this is one way to reduce the load and make it available for the people who really need it.

a million) If the owner of the positioning does not decide on you on his internet site you won't be able to go on his internet site. era. it particularly is his assets and he comes to a decision who can use it. He does not even decide on a reason. 2) Bans placed through powerfuble human beings are placed on your phase. changing your IP handle does not replace the phase, so which you're nevertheless banned. (So are the different 252 human beings on that phase.) 3) attempting to circumvent a ban gets your provider banned. in the event that they get complaints approximately human beings being banned from the positioning, your account gets canceled. (ordinary arithmetic - do they lose you or do they lose hundreds of different purchasers? The ban continues to be as long as your account does.) do no longer think of a internet site won't be able to do it. Myanmar - the entire united states - replaced into banned from a collection of websites returned in 1996. till the offenders have been saved off the internet, the ban remained. 4) Use a proxy and the proxy gets banned. Your provider gets notified. Your account is going away. What you will desire to do is settle for which you're banned and you may't use that internet site from now on. era. you won't be able to tension somebody to assist you to employ his assets. BTW, you do no longer would desire to violate something to get banned. the owner owns the positioning and can ban you for any - or no - reason. national rules do no longer persist with. you would be banned for being white, black, male, woman, old, youthful, handicapped - and no you may nevertheless do something approximately it. it particularly is called "deepest assets rights" and it particularly is the regulation in each civilized united states. (One definition of "civilized" is "respects deepest assets rights".)

you may have a dynamic ip address, one that gets assigned to you every time you connect to the internet, in this case other people before you may have used the same ip address and done who knows what with it,

or the website its self could have blocked a range of ip addresses - either the ones issued by your isp or just a random range that happened to include yours.

Finally you may have a virus causing you to see the message when you visit certain sites.

What sites exactly?

Before you got it someone else had it. And apparently that someone else wasn't too welcome on that specific site. Although banning
dynamic IP addresses isn't too smart...for obvious reasons ;)

Is anyone else using your computer? If there is, then that should be why. If not, then I honestly don't know.
