It certainly doesn't hurt your chances. However, Ivy League schools look at many other factors. If you are in the top ten percent of your class, have participated in a number of activities and write a good essay, then your chances are pretty good.

A few years back (I think in 2003), half of all the Harvard applicants with perfect SAT scores got denied. So no, you do not automatically get accepted with a perfect SAT score.
