My friend (call her Laura) was in a relationship for seven years. He went into the military and was sent to Taiwan. He met a girl there and wrote my friend to tell her he was going to marry her (the Thai girl) Then he stops writing for a while. Then he comes home, but doesn't come to see Laura. He says he is going to in a couple of weeks. Those weeks go by and he says a couple more. Now she's sure he will be here next week. She says maybe he wasn't serious abouut the other girl. I guess the Thai girl is sick and he was helping her get medicine she couldn't get on her own. Sounds kinda fishy to me. I think she should quit scheduling her life around this guy cuz he seems to be stringing her along.

she is chasing a dream that will never be, if he loved Laura she would have been the first thing on his mind when he came home, nothing could have kept him away from Laura, he is lying about his true feelings for the Thai girl, u can tell what is on a man's mind, and in his heart, as a a man will follow what he treasures. he is making up stories to her, so he can keep her just in case he has no one else, she is a fool to wait on him, he has already shown his true feelings, Laura is in denial, and doesn't want to face reality.

You're right! Can't believe he wants to see her if he's already told your friend he's going to marry someone else. Sounds like there was a problem in that relationship during those years. She's a fools if she keeps hoping he's coming back and she really should end any communication with him. He keeps saying that he's going to visit because he just doen't know how to tell her he doesn't want to see her. You're kidding yourself if you believe the story about the girl was sick and he was trying to get her medicine. PULEEZ!!! How cheesy can you get???
This relationship is DEAD and done with. Tell your friend to get over it and move on with her life. I'd suggest you get her to see a counselor because she's to the point of making excuses to maintain a relationship and this isn't healthy.

he is definitely not focused on her and she should keep him on standby. He is with someone else at this time and isnt man enough to tell her. He REALLY NEEDS TO TELL HER TO MOVE ON. If he said he didn't marry the THAI GIRL, then maybe she should stay in contact with him but since that didn't happen she really should leave him alone.

He is stringing her along, and you should def. tell her to move on. No point in sitting around waiting for someone that told you they were going to marry someone else and then when it doesn't work out all of a sudden he wants to see her again. she should have left him alone when he said he as going to marry her.

one thing she have to do is move on,i can tell he wasn't in love with her that he fell in love with the Thai girl so move on already if he really likes you he will come around thrust me.
