You do not need to feel worry of your inferiority complex because i know once it cured you feel your inferiority is just a little. I know because I myself had suffered inferiority complex for 3 years.
Here are some tips on how you can get rid of your inferiority complex;
Begin by accepting your limitations. Analyze them, and understand that there are some limitations you can work on. If you want to be runner but are lame, there’s really nothing you can do about. Acceptance of any problem actually solves it.
Find your own value. Remember no one on this planet is dispensable. The only issue is ‘do you know what your function is?’ If you don’t, find it! It could be your family, your friends, the society, somebody surely needs you, work for them, work towards them.
Set realistic goals and work towards them. If you set unrealistic goals you will only meet failure. That will lead to frustration and further lowering of your self-esteem. Set reachable goals, this will give you a feeling of success and that will help you reach more difficult goals later. Learn to be active, do things that will help you reach your destination.
Last but not the least, love yourself. If you have done something good, reward yourself. Learn to take compliments and be positive. Remember, what you think of yourself will affect what you feel for others. So once you see value in yourself you will be able to see the importance of others in your life. They say charity begins at home. Likewise, love begins with yourself. Remember only you can do it!

I agree that having loving relationships in your life is important. Also, doing something for others can help, too. Maybe volunteering for a couple of hours a week at the local hospital or something of that nature. Doing something for others helps you to feel good about yourself, improves your karma, and you also get a new insight into other people. It can help to see others who are worse off than you are - helps you get things into perspective.
Another thing that helps me during depression is to have small, positive events to look forward to in your life. These may be as simple as buying yourself (or someone else!) a bunch of flowers, moving your furniture around a little, taking a short trip out of town, phoning a friend, reading a good book; or more expensive/involved such as a vacation, makeover, shopping trip, etc.
You also need to look at what is making you unhappy in life and try to address that. It may be something you can work through by yourself, but if it goes on for very long, you may want to seek professional help.

I would strongly suggest making every effort to find a way of overcoming it without having to submit yourself to the potentially harmful effects of medications. It helps to have a wholesome, loving relationship in your life. Everybody needs somebody to love. If you don't have anyone right now, I would strongly suggest seeking that special someone to share your life with.

Go to your doctor and talk about medication and talk therapy If and when you are prescribed medication - take it EVERY day, don't ever try taking yourself off of it without consulting the doc and give it TIME to work - in 3 wks. to a month you should be feeling better.
