I answered a question by telling the kid to go ask their parents and to stop taking up time and space on here. It got deleted because they got offended. Come on, have we really gotten so thin skined that we get offended over something as small as that? Please if you are thin skinned, dont reply and whine.

Since I do not know what the child asked it is difficult to be specific regarding the outcome of your reply. However, in a general sense, I do believe that you are correct to tell a child to ask their parents about various matters that impact their lives. Too many children are given "adult rights" in spite of the fact that they are children. I think that the people, and children, who are most sensitive to someone pointing out what is appropriate are most often the very people who need clarification and guidance.

Does Yahoo delete things just because someone gets mad? (Serious question) People get offended because they don't want anyone to say anything that disagrees with them or is a suggestion they don't want to take. Not everyone but some. If people are going to be on here, they need to develop a thick skin because sooner or later someone is going to say something that could really tick you off if you let it.

I don't know. It takes a whole lot to offend me... a lot. I'm pretty calm but I do get p!ssed off by people sometimes. Who doesn't? But honestly it takes a lot to offend me. Irritating me is easy but offend, nope.

I never report people except if they are really just on here to cause misery and insult the asker. So far only 3 people reported by me.
