Indirectly. Hugh Beaver, a managing director of the Guinness Brewery had a trivia question about the fastest game bird. He couldn't find an answer and he was put in touch with the McGwirter brothers (twins) who owned a fact finding agency - one thing led to another and the Guinness Book of Records was born.
