I think we should have put ALL our resources into going after bin laden,it would have made much more sense,at least to me.We are now stuck in Iraq, can't leave, can't accomplish any thing by staying,it's very frustrating.....

Some people truly make me sick. I feel so unappreciated right now. Have you forgotten the thousands who died on Sept 11th? I volunteered to defend my country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Every soldier or sailor volunteered to pay the ultimate price for your safety, so you can sleep safe at night in your beds. I take great pride in being one of these willing. If my Commander in Chief had told the American people he was not going to avenge the deaths of innocent americans who died on Sept 11th and bring justice to those, the american people would have probably attacked him, there would have been riots in the streets. I am so freakin' mad I'm shakin. GRRRRRR!

And for you Brits, How about the subway bombings of innocent people in London? Should the whole world turn the other cheek to terrorism?

Minded our own business back in 1990, let Saddam take Kuwait then hopefully Saudi etc, then dealt w. him. He was our puppet against Iran, had the most secular country in the region and was no more of a monster than any other leader who is prepared to trade his own countryman's lives for glory, oil, money etc.

good question

doesn't have an easy answer. I think that we should look at the source of the problem... which had a lot to do with saddam hussien....

but also a lot to do with fundamentalist radicals.... finding jobs for people who are in poverty so that they are not easily convinced that radical violent means are the only other options would help

i'm sure there is a lot more that we can do, i'm sure other people have good ideas too

left them alone. Iraq was no threat to us. Yes Saddam was a bad man but that's a problem for Iraq not us. Let Iraqi take care of Iraqi problems.

Should have let them take care of themselves. it is not the US 's job to police the world. they all hate us until they need us, then they whine after we help them. we need to focus on home issues.
