I have bought the first and second books, I want to see the movie but I dont want to spoil thebook, So should I just go ahead and watch the movie or is the book good ebough to take the time and read and put the movieon hold? Thanks for your help!!

skip the books and the movie. they're cheesy and predictable

When a movie is made from a book, I personally think it is better to see the movie first. If you read the book first, you may be disappointed in the movie, but it rarely if ever happens the other way around.
And I do think the book is worth reading.

I didn't like that story at all. I really didn't. The rest of this answer is going to be a spoiler to you, so maybe you shouldn't read it. Carmen's father brings her down to see him and doesn't tell her he's getting married. So she finds out about it in a horrible way. One of the girls loses her virginity at soccer camp (say what?!), one goes to Greece and gets a nice boy in trouble and gets two elderly grandfathers to get into a fight, and one stays in town and becomes friends with a young girl who later dies of leukemia. I really didn't like the first one, and they made a sequel! And a movie! Hollywood's been making some cruddy books into movies. Though this may be good for me, because if I get people to read my stories maybe Hollywood will make a movie. Provided I get something published, that is.

Personally, I loved the books. They were a fun way to spend a boring day. There's a new one coming out next year! I saw the books first, the movie second. I'm not sure what you would really prefer though. I'd go with the book.

I have found that books are usually better than the movie, I saw the movie and I really like it.

I would say it is. I read the first two books and loved them. However, when I tried to read the third one, I couldn't get into it. I think I out grew it... But I would say definitely read the first one, at least.

I have never seen the movie. Would like to but havent yet. However the books are great! I really enjoyed them. I would definitely recommend reading them

first few chapters are horrible but the middle is good on the first book, send book is better.watch movie last!!

the books are good, perfect fun books. the movie was ok to me, not as good as i thought it would be and i thought it wasn't very true to the book.

I read it and i really liked it. You should read it too!!!It has alot of details in it.
