Okay dude, my stats:

Height: 6'5"
Weight: 160 lbs.

The thing you'll have to come to terms with in regards to finding clothes that fit is that often times...you won't. Brands and designers don't make clothes that cater to tall, skinny people; only short and skinny people which means that you'll often have to get things tailored. It all depends on what you like to wear.

From the look of your Avatar, I guess you like the youthful teenage clothing style. The trendy stuff.

American Eagle Outfitters:
AEO outfits teens and young adults of all shapes and sizes. You can get trendy jeans here for around $40. in a variety of washes in inseams of up to 36". As far as fitting the torso, if you have long arms, you won't find too much help in this area. You'll have to fit the torso and roll your sleeves or just buy a Large or XL and have it tailored. American Eagle is not really that imortant, to have it tailored I mean, but if necessary, do it. You don't want to look like you put on your dad's clothes and got swallowed up.

Abercrombie and Fitch
A&F caters to short, skinny people too. The inseam comes up to 34". The jeans are always destroyed and really tacky. Whatever.

Gap/Banana Republic/Old Navy
All owned by the same people (GAP INC.), these stores cater to the taller guy. If you're as young as your Avatar looks, you might not find what you like at BR because it caters to adults 25-40. Jeans come in inseams of up to 36" and you can find tops in tall sizes as low as Medium tall ranging to XLTall. It's great. Gap has tall stuff too that should interest you.

JCrew
JCrew carries things in tall sizes (and their jeans are awesome) but the tall sizes start at Large Tall which isn't too convenient.

I don't know your inseam or exact measurements, but you can usually find good things at Armani Exchange, Nieman Marcus, Rochester Big and Tall (not everything is HUGE, and most stuff can be ordered in Mediums or whatever); and Macy's.

That's really it. E-mail me with questions.
Good luck and Happy Holidays.

Short sleeves would not look ridiculous. Do NOT wear baggy clothing. You could try to do the indie/emo look as they're all underweight... and skinny jeans don't look too bad, as long as they're not skin tight. And if you wear skinny jeans, don't have them sag, that just looks stupid. Get a good pair of jeans that actually fit you, and don't wear black jeans, those will make you look even skinnier. Get tighter (but not obscenely look-at-my-man-**** tight) t-shirts.
