Santa Claus has nothing to do with religion. He's a fun icon that every child should at one time or another believe in. It's awesome to get mystery presents from some unknown being. It's magical, and every child should experience the joy of Christmas and Santa Claus. I'm neither a Christian nor an Atheist. No matter what religion I am, I would celebrate Christmas with my child(ren).

parents do a lot of stuff and say a lot of stuff that is only in the child's best interest.
would have rather they tell you now there isn't a real boogy man but there are men would do much worst things like take kids out of bedroom windows, take kids from your own house and back yard, take kids from when they walk to school and from school yards and bad men in school teacher, firemen, police, and clergy, that will do things to you that I will not even say..do you think that's what you would rather hear, after all IT IS ALL THE TRUTH isn't it...or would you rather your parents protect you until you of an age to understand things...or is the truth always the way to go? and being a child you would be frozen in life and afraid to do and go anywhere...I think it is better parents make the children happy and protect them,,,and this is only the tip of the ice burg..there is so much more parents do to protect their children....
good luck

The fantasy of Santa has been around for years and years. It's a tradition. It wasn't YOUR parents.

Shame on you! One day you may be a parent, are you going to deprived your children of the excitement of Christmas and Santa? You know, you are what you think, and I think you need help, seriously!

That's partly true, I mean as a kid and all I'm in fifth grade now and I don't believe in Kris Kringle anymore.
But the thrill of getting the presents and gifts in your stocking really made you believe the magic was real.
Until one day, you realized, he's not real

Spend some time learning to spell. Then you can worry over who lies more. Parents or bratty children that don't get all the toys in the world for Christmas.

listen trina, if that is your real name ( maybe you are the liar)
Santa is obv real
posting it on the internet that you don't think he exsits means you have some real problems
maybe instead of worrying about your parents "lies" you try to convince yourself to celebrate the right way
Merry Christmas

No!!! I used to think the same thing. I think everyone has thought that. Just trust your parents they are just looking out for you and they care about you more than anything!!!
