the only reason people charge for something is because people are willing to pay for it.

Why, because artists thought that they werent getting there fair share of the profits (like they could use more money) so the got together in this big artist maffia like thing and complained so now we are forced to pay 99 cents for everydowload of music :(

Because the artist and the companies need to make money somehow. If everyone's downloading and not paying then they can't really make any money.

No idea, I just buy records I like. Sorry if I sound like a Granddad but I like to know I have what the artist had in mind when I listen to their music!

Because someone has to sit down and write the programs and they want paying. did you think that they would work for nothing
