i work for peugeot
there are three filters in the fuelpump they are non changeable
if you have any problems with the car it wont be the fuel system...possibly the injectors or the coil they are more common

petrol 307s don't have a external filter,just the strainer hung on the botton of the fuel pump in the tank

Somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine.

I expect it is in the carburettor where the petrol inlet comes in that is the pipe between the carb and the petrol pump
