1. When walking barefoot around the house,a girsl notices that the tile floor feels colder than carpeted portions.
2. After sunbathing on a beach, the water in the ocean feels very cold upon entry.
4. A person who is not ill can detect if you have a fever by placing his or her hand on your forehead.
5. You can't tell if you have a fever by feeling your own forehean.
6. After cinubg indoors in the winter tine, the room fells very warm at first, later it doesn't feels as warm.
7. Water in lakes or the ocean does not feel as cold at night as it did during the daytime.
8. Areas sheltered from the wind feel warmer than windy places, even though the air temperature is the same.
9. Experienced outdoors people know the value of keeping their socks and footweaer dry. They remain comfortanle during cold weather while a person with wet feet if chilled.
