I recommend http://www.half.com and http://www.amazon.com.

The advantage of selling in Half and Amazon over eBay is that you don't have to make up a pretty auction for each of them, and the items stay for sale until they sell or you de-list them.

Oh my God, I envy you so much. I was also a DVD collector in my native country, but I had to leave them ALL when I moved into the US. My collection of movies was similar to yours (comedies mostly though, and many trilogies too) but I didnt have any tv shows, just some musicals and concerts.
Before coming here I tried desperately to sell them, but nothing, some people just wanted to buy a few movies, separately, but it wasnt going to give me not even a tiny part of all I really spent.
So, I'm not sure if you can sell it, maybe if you go to a video store or rent, then you could sell your collection there, or part of it, but dont expect to get the same amount of money you spent.

Good luck!!! And Merry Xmas!!!

hold a garage or yard sale , but an easier way would be ebay or some kind of online selling thing. Or, ask friends or family if they would like to buy some of them off of u. Or u culd always just give some of them away as presents.

Have a yard sale or go to an auction barn and sell them there or list them online and sell them. OR if you feel real generous and the movies are appropriate donate them to the library or somewhere like toys for tots charity.

Happy New Year!

You're not going to get the money back that you put out for all those DVDs. Sell them on eBay or Craigslist, give them to your friends as gifts, or better yet, donate them to the local shelter or Children's Club. Lesson learned...lol

it depends on what movies u have. if ur using ebay or any other site to sell dvds, then u should sell them by a little over half the price. don't waste ur money on $20 dvds! you'll never make ur money back. be very patient stack ur money and eventually you'll make ur money back and more.

I think selling them on Amazon or Ebay is a wise decision.

EBay. Set up a stall and sell them directly.
