I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

You have 2 choices.

1. Buy a good antivirus program, sweep your computer. Try again, to fix your backround.

2. Call your computer's manufacturer, and have them send you the driver, and software disks they will contact you when disks arrive and walk you through the rest. Hope this helps, Brodster

Change the colour of the background if you can, then click apply>ok. then restart your computer and set a new background. the same thing happened to me and thats how I fixed it.

I think you managed to get infected with SpyJack-F trojan. Look at link below to help remove it.

Do you have IE 7 - this is buggy and vunerable to hacks - it woul dbe best to downgrade this to IE 6.
