I think most of the big shops will be open for the sales, but it's probably best if you check on their websites, just to be on the safe side. If you're going to a shopping centre, it should have a website with the opening hours for all of the shops. I'm going sales shopping tomorrow, bring on the bargains!

Recent changes to the law in NSW now allow shops to be open on boxing day, however it depends on the owner/manager if they chose to open or not. Many stores have indicated that they will NOT open on boxing day, but most of the major national stores will be open. Jewellery stores I am not sure about, I would suggest you try the bigger shopping centres at Charlestown or Kotara to find out or call them first before heading in.

Sadly for the people who will be expected to work, quite a few shops will be open, but they will mostly be open the same as Sunday opening hours (UK)

All the sales start on boxing day so i guess all the shops will be open.......Happy shopping :-)

all the co-ops where i live and there was an advert on the telly tonight saying tesco express were going to be open?, or do you mean for shopping, i dont know, i dont think many are, just elerical shops, sofa stores etc!

well where i live, nearly ALL shops are open, Merry Christmas for yesterday :) and Happy New Year, for the coming year.

if you are in the uk most are open as sales start next and all large stores are open
