If you have a wireless router, and it is position with a line-of-sight to her home; and there are not brick or concrete obstructions, she might get a signal strength strong enough to get your shared wireless internet signal. You might have to move your router to a place that is closest to her home.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Who has the internet connection? If you do, and you have a wireless access point/router that's broadcasting and if she can pick up your signal, and knows your encryption key, she would be able to use your access point to get on the Internet...but most of the time this would be in violation of your ISP providers contract...the connect ion can only be shared within the same house per phone/cable line unless you get a waiver from your ISP.

If she can see your network all you need to tell her is what the password to get on it is. If you don't have a password on your wireless access point or router, all the neighbors are probably already sharing your internet.

Assuming your neighbor installs a wireless router that is within 100-150 feet of your computer, and gives you the password for he network, you would physically be able to attach to her network.

However doing so is a felony known as "theft of services". You are using her ISP's services without paying for them. If discovered, both of you could face fines and additional service charges for allowing you to do that.

It depends on which house contains the router. If yours does, then you will have the better connection and she won't and vice-versa. Make sure the router is set up with wireless internet, unless you want to steal someone else's. I wouldn't recommend that, cause they could catch you if they realize that their connection is slow and checks to see who's using it.

YES. The signal has to be strong enough and as long as she does not activiate any security mesures. Or you can ask her for the password.

You betcha. I share my network with anyone who knows of it's existance and can "password protect" them in to it. If you have an unsecured network, anyone can log on.

This will take some time, but test, test, test. Good luck with that.
