I took an ordinary bowl from the cupboard and I started putting my change in there. Is this what I should do? I place it by the window sill.

There is such a thing as a 'singing bowl' which is made out of 7 metals and has a metal piece that is run across the edge and it makes a small noise. It is supposed to get rid of Yin (bad energy) and attract Yan (good energy). You walk around your house using it, 3 times in each room clockwise. Also, no ornamental/decorative bowls should be in your house empty. The should have something in them, and money is a very good choice.
